Our parish is in the Pastoral Care of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC), an international religious order offering our world a ‘spirituality of the heart’.
Our Missionaries of the Sacred Heart live this heart-centred spirituality understanding that we are called to ‘be on earth the heart of God’. ‘God has no other heart but ours’.
As a Parish Community and in living our Parish Vision Statement, ‘As a people who believe and trust in the love of God for us, revealed in the heart of Christ, we live out this love in a welcoming and inclusive community that provides life-giving support and service to all people’.
7.00pm every Sunday at Sacred Heart Church Hindmarsh. Also at the House of Prayer, 429 Port Rd at 1.00pm Wednesday and 7.30pm Thursday.
Meet every Friday night from 7.00-9.00pm at 1 Hartley Rd, Flinders Park (Nazareth Senior Campus). Aims to form young followers of Jesus and to create a faith community of young people. Meet every Thursday at 10 am during the school term at Our Lady of the Manger Church to pray the Rosary.
Presenting the Gospel to children during the 10.30am Mass at Our Lady of the Manger Findon and the 9.00am Mass at Sacred Heart Church Hindmarsh each Sunday. Volunteer Leaders are welcome. A Police Clearance and Child Safe Environment Training are necessary for this Ministry.

Supports the parish in catechetical activities. The vision and mission of the Preca Community is ‘to seek holiness with an emphasis on learning and teaching faithful others so that they in turn will make Jesus known and loved through the whole world’. Preca Community website.
Our conference is part of a world-wide organisation founded by Frederic Ozanam in France in 1833. We assist those in need of material or emotion support in our wider community. We welcome new volunteers.
